Impact
ADRA’s purpose is to serve humanity so all may live as God intended. Through meaningful partnerships with communities, donor institutions and other stakeholders, ADRA Sri Lanka has served and is serving thousands of people across Sri Lanka. Our key sectors are as follows.
WASH
We focus on providing safe and clean water and improving sanitation and hygiene in estate as well as rural communities of Sri Lanka.
Health and Nutrition
We also work towards the improvement of health and nutrition in estate and rural communities through improved access to proper healthcare, knowledge and practices.
Refugee Reintegration and Economic Development
We assist refugee returnees to reintegrate locally and socially, while contributing towards economic development through livelihood support and strengthening of government institutions and communities.
Emergency Responses
We provide timely assistance during the aftermath of natural disasters through the provision of relief kits, back to school kits, hygiene and kitchen kits designed under SPHERE standards.
Empowerment
Empowering local organizations to lead lasting change in nutrition and livelihoods by strengthening skills, fostering partnerships, and promoting inclusive community action—uplifting women, youth, and families toward a healthier, more resilient future.
